Hiking In Seoul

One of the main reasons I love Korea are the mountains that cover this country. Koreans love to hike and when you get to the top, I can see why people do it everyday. The view from the tops of these mountains are breathtaking. It makes you really appreciate this place and what it has to offer.

Boryeong Mud Festival

What a perfect opportunity to cover yourself in mud, wrestle random people in a mud pit, and sing, dance, and drink! The Koreans really know how to party and take care of their skin at the same time.

Children's Musuem

We took our little monkeys to the Children's Museum for some fun and hands-on activities. Since I couldn't read anything, I had one of my students translate a lot of the information and ended up learning a bit about the history of Korea.

Namsan Park and Hanok Village

Went exploring today on my own. I got really lost for awhile...by awhile I mean 4 hours. My feet felt like they were going to fall off but I saw some beautiful things!

Seoul Museum of Art

We took a little trip to the art museum in Korea and there were many interesting statues before you even made your way into the museum! Here are some of them!

War Memorial

We took our Kindergartners to see the War Memorial of Korea on one of the hottest days we have had here. The War Memorial was actually a place I wanted to check out myself, so it was nice to go to a place I was interested in going to in the first place. Here are some pictures of the trip.

Picnic at the Park

These pictures were taken at a picnic we went on the other day with our Kindergartners. The kids played with bubbles, did relay races, and competed in tug o war! It was a gorgeous day at a beautiful park!
